Stepping on stage for the first time at the tail end of 2006, Cody quickly realized that he finally had some direction in his life after years of dumping money into college classes that he was not attending and failing to make ends meet as an arsonist for hire(in wake of the arson boom of ‘05). Cody became a regular on stages throughout Nebraska as he began to hone his craft and save funds for relocation. Finally in early 2010 Cody made the move to Austin, TX in search of stage time and comedic growth. Ever since he has been fortunate enough to be a finalist in both the 2010 and 2011 Funniest Person In Austin Contest, winning joke of the night in the finals each year. Cody has had the pleasure of opening for many comedy greats including Doug Stanhope, Doug Benson, Tom Rhodes, and Vic Henley.
