The New Movement has been leading the pack of Austin Comedy troupes for
years. In addition to their regular performances at FunFunFun Fest, TNM
actively tours the country, runs a comedy training center in Austin,
Houston and New Orleans and recently filmed a pilot for Comedy Central.
Their homebase is 1819 Rosewood in Austin, Tx where the group puts on
free or cheap comedy shows Wednesday-Sunday every week as well as improv
classes the Austin Chronicle says are "a gem of focused education."
