there are 500 tickets available and 500 winners that can purchase 2 tickets max. what happens when everyone gets 2 tickets? 250 people are just shit out of luck?

Yes, it's a conspiracy. The "intricacies" of the site nav really offer clues to the 2010 lineup.

Do the Fun1 tickets have to be purchased with a card in the lottery winners name? I won and my boyfriend didn't, but we're getting the tickets on his card because I pretty much use cash exclusively. Is this okay, as long as I'm signed in to purchase?

Name on the card doesn't matter, just make sure you are logged in to your FFF account.

Then go pay full price and let someone else that will appreciate the discount get your Fun1 tickets.

It was an awful lot of build up for a discount that amounts to $4 off regular price after all the service charges. Is it better than no discount? Sure, but not by a lot.

This is pretty lame, you have to admit. HUGE build up, and pretty small payout to those "lucky few". What I love about FFF fest and what I always tell people is that it's like an anti ACL, less expensive, more relevant music and more of a community feel. This just starts feeling like any other cheesy marketing tactics. So disappointing.

i kinda agree.. if the normal price is $75 and that is what anyone could pay at the door. then i don't really feel as if i got much of a discount after all the service fees. i was expecting something that was worth the limited 500 contest.. oh well. bought and paid for already

Granted its a bigger festival, I've always loved how Lollapalooza has their limited early bird tickets around $50 (a few years ago I bought them for $29). That's a savings of a couple hundred bucks. A nice way to reward the fans that stay active in the community.

This thread brought me some relief for not scoring in the lottery. At least we know we didn't miss out too majorly.

Hey. Thanks for the feedback. Sorry you're bummed out about it but all in all it's a solid discount. Before dreaded taxes and fees (which cover processing ugh) it's $15 off each ticket. That amount across 500 tickets is pretty substantial for a family run festival like FFF.

You're all welcome to sit on the FFF couch and tell us your deepest darkest thoughts & feelings anytime. We won't judge, we still love you.

Happy Friday! Have a great weekend Wizard-style.

I enjoyed my $15 off. A discount is a discount whether it's $2 bucks off or $15 off.... THANKS! :)
