PIP Passes???

I would say it's worth it. If you are going both days and plan on drinking any beer the extra 75 bucks is way worth it. I know personally over two days I'm probably gonna spend at least that much on beer alone so why not get the PIP pass and drink for free.

I would do it in a second. I pick a different Atx fest every year and put all my eggs in one basket.

What else is good about em besides free beer?

So..who else was too broke to buy a PIP pass, but did it anyway...leaving the rest of their friends to fend for themselves with a regular ticket?

well we were kinda broke. but we got 2 PIP's anyway.

Then there's a show we're gonna make, that happens to be in the next month after that. and it happens to be in New Jersey.

I thought PIP passes were a TREMENDOUS waste of money. Never again. They SOLD beer in the PIP area...even if there was a cheap pisswater brand for free along with cokes, is that worth it....to double the cost of your ticket? Food: day one....glop of runny frito pie (vegetarian or meat eating variety), day two..tiny gordito, stale corn, cold kebob....not much more for meat eaters....
PIP Balconies: farther back from the stage than the regular audience and no shelter from the elements (and day two was rainy...if you wanted shelter, you had to go to the crowded food service area and miss the bands. No seats. Separate bathroom area? Its a portolet, just slightly less used than the other portolet areas.

Liked the show, but the passes were a rip-off.
