PIP Passes???

I'm not going to ACL this year, so I'll have some extra cash... I was thinking about getting the PIP passes. Anyone here buy them for past festivals? Are they worth it?

    I would say it's worth it. If you are going both days and plan on drinking any beer the extra 75 bucks is way worth it. I know personally over two days I'm probably gonna spend at least that much on beer alone so why not get the PIP pass and drink for free.

    I agree. What's protocol for drinks there? Is it pretty much all you can drink? Or do they just pass out beers like brochures?

    I would do it in a second. I pick a different Atx fest every year and put all my eggs in one basket.

    So..who else was too broke to buy a PIP pass, but did it anyway...leaving the rest of their friends to fend for themselves with a regular ticket?

    well we were kinda broke. but we got 2 PIP's anyway.
    we're also driving from AL

    Then there's a show we're gonna make, that happens to be in the next month after that. and it happens to be in New Jersey.

    I'm freaking out. But i have to go.

    They sold out over a month before the fest last year. This year is looking the same. The packages are boss this year!

    Glad I just bought mine! Now broke til after rent day! So worth it... Now need to save up for a flight and make a hotel reservation. Tally Ho!!

    Hellllll NO! Dont do it. They dont cap PIP passes anymore, food is awful, and zero value in them. Do not buy them!!

    Unfortunately, that seemed to be the case F3F 2012. 2010 PIP was a bit of a disapointment because of the food vendor issue, 2011 PIP was a big improvement but still had food vendor issues, and 2012 PIP was a total cock up.
