PIP Passes???

I'm not going to ACL this year, so I'll have some extra cash... I was thinking about getting the PIP passes. Anyone here buy them for past festivals? Are they worth it?

    I would say it's worth it. If you are going both days and plan on drinking any beer the extra 75 bucks is way worth it. I know personally over two days I'm probably gonna spend at least that much on beer alone so why not get the PIP pass and drink for free.

    I agree. What's protocol for drinks there? Is it pretty much all you can drink? Or do they just pass out beers like brochures?

    I would do it in a second. I pick a different Atx fest every year and put all my eggs in one basket.

    So..who else was too broke to buy a PIP pass, but did it anyway...leaving the rest of their friends to fend for themselves with a regular ticket?

    well we were kinda broke. but we got 2 PIP's anyway.
    we're also driving from AL

    Then there's a show we're gonna make, that happens to be in the next month after that. and it happens to be in New Jersey.

    I'm freaking out. But i have to go.
