video cameras?

Are video cameras allowed? I attended the Fest back in 2007, but I was drunk and had so much FUN x3, that I never noticed this.

I imagine it would be a logistical nightmare as there are probably some bands that are perfectly fine with people shooting video of the show while other acts will not want it. When I saw Danzig last year he wasn't allowing the audience to take pictures or shoot videos. It was a major distraction in the show as security were constantly making their way through the crowd to tell people to put their cameras and phones away. Several people were escorted out for refusing and/or repeated offenses.

Will they have professional photographers and/or videographers there then? It'd be nice if we can't shoot to have another way of taking home memories on film, even if I have to pay for them.

I am pooling the funds in hopes of renting a helicopter (or glider) to document from above... Get to the choppa! Unless I make entry from the point system (fingers crossed)
