Two bands that are currently active, but I'll be amazed if you can get them to Texas: Shellac, Wire.
Reasonably possible to book, but I'd be surprised: Butthole Surfers (play in Austin? What, are you kidding me?), Descendents, Mudhoney, Nomeansno, Rasputina, Superchunk, Toy Dolls, Mike Watt, X.
