my opinion on the lineup
Of course it's great! Fun Fun Fun and FYF seem to do things right. I think I just had such extreme expectations that I was maybe let down a tad. Doesn't mean that I'm upset at all, cuz I'm not but I wanted to see the following bands:
Faith No More
Quicksand
ATDI
Morrissey/Johnny Marr
Tribe Called Quest
to name a few. I also think the orange stage is a little soft compared to last year.
BUT, besides that, the festival is great and it will be such an amazing time! Big props to everyone who puts this together. Looking forward to November!
Cheers!
p.s. Refused aren't fucking dead.

A Mr. Bungle reunion should be in order here. Tomahawk with Trevor on bass will have to do.

I'm actually really surprised that Quicksand and Tribe Called Quest weren't on the bill. I figured Quicksand was pretty much a given and Tribe is coming back around again thanks to that documentary that just got released. They would have been awesome next to Run-D.M.C...talk about kicking it old school!
FNM would be a dream come true, but I'm definitely not holding my breath for them...Patton side-projects are about as close as we'll get, methinks. But a Mr. Bungle reunion, on the other hand...that somehow seems attainable.

Cedric said on twitter a while back that they would not be doing FFF, so I wasn't hoping nor expecting them to.
As for FNM: Patton has basically said that they play the Euro fests because the Euro countries still supported them during the King For a Day line up. I went and saw FNM in San Fran in 2010 and I loved the show but its definitely in their comfort zone, I doubt unless someone puts up HUGE money they will do more than just like the big markets in coastal states. Which really sucks.
