Mountain Goats to Appear on "Colbert"

Man, was it not enough that "The Colbert Report" was one of the most consistently funny shows on TV? Now they've got to go and pick better musical guests than anyone else, too? That doesn't seem fair.
Earlier this week, we told you that the Flaming Lips would appear on the show's September 16 episode. In case you're not staring at your calendar, that's tonight, so set your DVR. (Following the performance, the Lips will stream their new album Embryonic via the show's Colbert Nation website for a week, until September 21.)
