At lunch today we were discussing how much I hate NASA, and the entire concept of space exploration as a whole. I guess that's very un-american on me, but I can't really help it. Sure, it's great to know that...well...we live in a fucking universe with planets and such, but it's honestly not going to do me a bit of good. My life isn't any better knowing about it, and life out there most likely isn't going to happen, so why sink billions of dollars into that shit when that money could be used elsewhere? It seems like such a waste.
