Tip #2: Be Weather Ready

So last year at FFF the second day was, as you all know, very wet. I felt bad for the people who didn't bring ponchos or umbrellas. A couple of my friends ended up asking for trash bags from the food vendors but those didn't work very well. And while some stranger made a comment about how dorky my boyfriend and I looked in our bright blue ponchos, we were a couple of dorks who were still relatively dry at the end of the day as opposed to some hipsters who looked SOOO cool dripping wet and shivering at the end of the night.

So my tip is be ready for any kind of weather. Bandannas for dust, ponchos for rain, a hat for oppressive sun. This year I'm also bringing a towel so not only can I sit on the ground without covering my ass in dirt, but if it rains again I can actually park it on a bench or ledge without it soaking through my poncho.

Woo.

Oh no! Sorry you got sick Andrea. Had I not been an over prepared person (as I tend to be) we wouldn't have had the ponchos on day two. My boyfriend said, "It didn't rain yesterday, maybe we should leave the ponchos home" and I said "No, I think we should bring them just in case".

And of course, I gloated when the rain started to fall.
Less gloating after several hours of it falling.

YEs! last year was awful! I came in from out of town completely unprepared for the wet and COLD weather. Didn't have a jacket or anything, by the end of the festival, my boyfriend and I ran to my car and blasted the heat. We got very sick afterwards
