went to san marcos lately, ive never spent actual time in san marcos and despite the rain it was pretty nice. i loved seeing that pub with the rock/waterfalls cant remember what it was called. went to lunch at Grins and i suggest anyone go there for uh the best chicken fried steak ever-ish? (S/O shriner beer batter,man.) and im pretty interested in attending Texas State... aswell.

I spent this past weekend with my beau and I couldn’t have asked for anything else. This upcoming weekend will not be the same, being as he wont be around for me to annoy.

I made him dinner which just the two of us ate and all we did was smile at each other at the table like nerds, he met everyone that came by. It was late then we spent time together watching wet hot American summer then finally we fell asleep. waking up next to him is the best thing in the world.after waking up we watched Rushmore and I made him breakfast while he graded some papers. (excuse me he was making lesson plans)


so cute.

soon we headed to the beach and on the way we got happy that Ron Jeremy has a water tower. (its actually Freddy fender btw)





we finally approached the island to meet up with a good friend of mine. You could literally smell the ocean while we drove nearer. I hadn’t been the beach since the last meteor shower late this summer,it was a great feeling coming back with the beau.

we finally checked in and went into our suite on the island and it was more than we could of asked for;


i actually fell asleep that night because that bed was too comfy and god. that shower was huuuge.*shower obviously not pictured

we went to dinner, came back to the room to change then headed to the beach. Although night was approaching, we went to a spot me and my cousin always frequent. Me and mel went into the water (also... when you go into the water and something brushes up against your leg you freak the fuck out. i suppose its the unknown thats more frightening.)

soon we headed back to the room, laid in bed watching the aggies game then had drinks with mel and gus played some drinking games(vanilla vodka and cranberry juice...so awful never again)



the morning after came too quickly… we had breakfast then headed off back into town



sometimes i take living near the beach for granted. it was a nice trip back and should do it more often.
