Help Me Fund My New Film

Thu, Nov 24, 2011 at 3:56 PM By: Phillip

Hello all you wonderful FFFers! Work, life and school have been collectively crazy since our amazing weekend a few weeks ago, but expect some recaps once things have calmed down. Until then, however, I wanted to let everyone know about something very near and dear to me heart: my new film!

I'm currently in the fund-raising stage for my latest film, entitled "Late." This is my Senior capstone project in film school and my "calling card," so to speak, for the film world. As a poor college student, I'll need any financial support that any wonderful patrons might provide.

If y'all are interested, more information can be found at my project's Kickstarter page:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pkaragas/late

Any contribution will be greatly appreciated and will help me further my mission: bringing quality and passion back to horror films.

Thanks, everybody!

Number one with a bullet, baby!! Backroma, how can I ever thank you? Over 700 comments...this has to be a new record on the F3F site. And to think...we weren't even friends before! Glad you stuck with me, amigo!

Now, not to unnecessarily nitpick, backroma, but I'm seeing quite a few duplicate posts here. Three comments about Canada goose down? Where's the invention? Where's the imagination? The post about the frog fountains was exquisite: long, rambling but so descriptive...and then...multiple nonsense about Canada goose down? I think that, in your headlong rush to 300, you might be sacrificing quality for quantity. We expect more, backroma.

Well, lookie hear...you did it! In one fell swoop, you boosted this blog to the #1 spot AND topped 200 posts. Well done! Everything after this is pure gravy, but keep 'em coming, backroma! This, good sir, is dedication!

I noticed that neither you nor your aliases seem to have any friends, backroma...that just doesn't seem right! Is there no one out here, not even one single person, that wants to friend backroma and his aliases? People, he's really an okay guy...look how much he's helped me so far!

Glad to see you've continued to post under your original account: see how those points add up fast? Keep this up for a whole year and, not only will you increase my visibility, you might even earn yourself some free stuff through the site. Win-win, backroma!

Well, well, backroma...quite nice! You just about got us up to the #1 spot. You didn't quite get us there, but you got pretty damn close. Kudos to you! I'm almost thinking that we can put 200 back on the table...you've earned it! So, now, go and make me proud: I expect the comment count to be over 200 by the end of the day. With that many comments, I honestly can't see how this blog will be ignored. More attention = more funds for our film.

Backroma, you patron of the arts, you! Good job!

We're still only inching forward, backroma. After the deluge from yesterday, I'm quite disappointed in your performance today. You appeared to have the confidence I needed to push my blog into the number one spot. However, you've been sadly slack today. This will not do!
