Megadeth Ticket Purchased

Just bought my ticket to Megadeth's "Countdown to Extinction" show in AZ. As with the Green Day show, I spent waaaay to much on this ($55) but it's a small club (same place Green Day is playing) and it's fucking "Countdown to Extinction!" I can't even count the number of times I spun that damn thing when I was a teenager. I've heard most of it live at various shows over the years, but this will be a front-to-back performance of one of the greatest metal albums ever made. I may talk a lot of shit about Ted Nu...err, Dave Mustaine, these days but there is no doubt that the little fucker still crafted one massive platter of chug-a-lug.

Very nice! I missed Megadeath the last time they rolled through town a few years ago.

Dude, that's gonna be a good show! I've always wanted to catch Megadeth live. I distinctly recall the day I purchased Killing Is My Business on vinyl back when Waterloo records was, like, a 1000 sq-ft store south of the river. I hear you on the old ticket stub thing, there are a few I have where it's like "Wow, what a great fucking set of bands for cheap!". :)

That's definitely my philosophy, although the tight-fisted side of my nature always punches me in the head when I spend anything over $7. Part of the problem is that I've been going through my old ticket stubs lately and I realized that I saw White Zombie, Pantera and Eyehategod for $15. Man...those were the days!
