As promised, I'm nearly ready to unleash my horror movie lists for the year upon the blogosphere. In order to make the very lengthy list a bit more digestible, I've opted to break it up into several different pieces. This includes such categories as foreign, highest rated (on my own one-five scale), style, year of release, etc... I'll also include a category for films that will be highly suited for larger viewings, so get some friends and alcohol together and have yourselves a movie night! You should know two things about my recommendations: anything that I recommend on these lists have scored either a 4 or 5 on my scale (with the exception of one 3...more on that later) and some of this stuff can get a little gnarly. The red stuff in films has never bothered me, although I don't tend to gravitate towards it.

At any rate, be prepared for the lists in the very near future!
