Looks like my victory at scoring a ticket to Green Day's club tour in December was short-lived: they've now cancelled the club tour and rescheduled their 2013 arena tour. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that when they get everything back on track, they won't be doing the club shows anymore and will just jump straight to the arenas. Since I've seen them in the arenas for the last several tours they've done and this whole thing has left kind of a bad taste in my mouth, it's looking increasingly likely that I won't make the effort to see them perform live in the future. Ah, well...I'll always have the "Nimrod" club tour to reminisce about, I suppose.

What a drag it is getting old(er).
