NITES LineUp Soon!
I’m pretty stoked about the Nites lineup coming out soon. Some the best times last year were at the Nites’ shows. My favorite Nites experience from last year was at the Beauty Bar. We went to the Austra DJ set and ended the night with Diplo showing up and rocking the house. Not to mention the night before when Blackie and Deathgrips took down Empire Automotive. What was your best Nites experience?

Hands down, Russian Circles... kinda sad they aren't coming back this year. Gotta love how they sounds like classical metal music

Just noticed the FB post about the Nites info getting posted soon...what great news! I'm still betting that some of the Nites lineup won't be at the actual Fest and vice versa. Wonder when the info is coming out?

I wanted to check out the Oh Sees but had to make a decision. It worked out for me in the end. I hate having make those calls. I'm pretty much up for anything this year. Oh and I am taking a half day off on Thursday so I can get here in time for the Nites show then.

friday i did glass candy / cold cave at mohawk
saturday was memoryhouse / purity ring / keep shelly in athens at empire auto
sunday i shoulda went to beerland for thee oh sees, but i went to see bear hands at red7. prolly my worst idea of the fest :p they didn't suck, but i also didn't have a good time at the show.
for this year, i'm really hoping for shows from colleen green, dirty beaches, the babies, crocodiles, and diiv.

Even though I fully intended to go to every Nites show last year, I only actually made it to one: Jesse Malin opening for Jim Ward. I ended up falling asleep before Jesse even went on, a full beer in front of my snoozing face. Granted, I may have been tired from my flight (this was Thursday night) but I certainly hope to do better than that this year.
