Divine Fits (Review)
Divine Fits 1st Listen
I have finally got around to listening to the Divine Fits record “A Thing Called Divine Fits”. It has been on NPR first listen for awhile but I kind of skipped over it. Let’s first start off with the disclaimer that love Spoon and I love Wolf Parade. That being said, I am never in the mood to hear a Wolf Parade song followed by I Spoon song. Now in a random shuffle this fine but I think I would have liked all the Britt Daniels vocal tracks and the Dan Boeckner vocal tracks broken up in two EPs. I really like the album but don’t think I will ever listen to it in the traditional album format.

I just feels a little disjointed to go from one style to next back to back. All good songs just not in to the track listing.

Very interesting point, Slyd! I haven't had a chance to listen to the album yet, but I'll let you know if my thoughts jive with yours.
