The thing that really gets me this year is the lack of punk acts. Every single year, it's been amazing. Bad Brains, Gorilla Biscuits, 7 Seconds, all these bands that mean something being pushed aside for spoiled metal brats who will pay more and more for bands like Slayer. I love Slayer, but turning around from half punk half metal to 95% metal this year was a huge let down. I love FFF and its been a staple for my wife and I, but I won't be buying advance sale tickets again if FFF continues to sell out for bigger names and more money.
I agree with Bonnie. The way I see it is that I am purchasing tickets to the event...not so much tickets to see Band A or B. If the event sucks ~ then the bands probably will too.
