So I must blog about the weird things that are going on next door.

Okay..so my boyfriend and I moved into a house last year in September. When we were talking to my landlord,he was giving us the lowdown on all the neighbors. The neighbor to the left me is retired and the house on the right is empty. He told me that the owner of the empty house lives in Austin (I'm in San Antonio) so he's never home. Which I thought was pretty sweet because our jam room was on that side of the house.

Anyway, a couple of months go by and I happened to see the owner of the empty house one day when he came. I was a little curious so I snuck a peak through the window. He just cut the grass looked bored (he stayed outside for the most part) and left. He was just your average white male, mid 30's. And I haven't seen him since.

But since that time, I have seen other people go to that house.

One day my boyfriend and I saw the neighbor who lives on the other side of empty house walking back and forth between houses.He is some Mexican guy..not Hispanic...you can tell he is a Mexican. Which was a little odd since he never did that before and I assumed that other white guy was the owner.
A little bit later a whole Mexican family (i heard them only speak Spanish) was at the empty house. But they all stayed outside. They would hang outside on the front porch and never went inside. My boyfriend made the assumption that they did not have electricity. Because the whole family stayed sitting outside in lawn chairs. But they also seem to know the neighbor on the other side. because that guy would come talk to them and both of their families were hanging out on the porch together sometimes. Another weird about that is that they were only there during the day..never at night. As soon as it got dark they left.

Then we saw all these cars parking between both houses and it seemed like they were doing construction, but I couldn't really tell. All these guys were going between the houses and to me it seemed like they were trying to get into the empty house. Because first I saw the garage door open..which had never been open before. Then all of the sudden they were in the house.
Whenever the house was empty another man started coming and doing yard work around the house. He was fixing stuff around the house also..as if he was the owner. He seemed to be a typical San Antonio Hispanic. He even told me hello and had a couple of seconds of chit chat. I felt compelled to ask him if he was living there , but didn't wanna seem nosey. Now keep in mind these guys having been going in there sounds like they are doing construction, but we never see them with building materials or tools.

Okay so that happened then it all stopped. Once again the house was empty, no one ever came back...until the other day.

It was about 2 weeks ago...
I walked out of my house at about 8:15amish..and I see a very nice white car parked next door. I have never seen that car before. But when I walked out of my house there was a black guy sitting in the parked car. As soon as he saw me walk out of my house he started the car and took off. I thought to myself.."what the hell was that all about?" Later on that day the white car came back but he had another black guy with him. Now these guys kinda start doing the same thing. They were like walking around the house and then eventually they were inside. These guys just seem fishy. I kinda feel like they are trying to stay low key. Whenever they see us outside they won't even make eye contact and go inside. Then all of the sudden that Mexican family was back, but only for one day. Then the black guys came back.

So, now I told my friends this the other day while were chillen in the backyard drinking and everyone was trying to come up with theories. Because no one stays at that house long enough to be renting it. I mean I suppose it could be a month to month lease. However, I never see any of these people with furniture or stuff to move in. I couldnt see any physical changes on the outside of this construction that goes on so it could all be on the inside. But why was the other neighbor going back and forth ..for a while I thought well..maybe he's actually owns the house. Although that doesn't match the info that my landlord have given me. And then who was that one white guy? Another theory is that they are immigrants. But I have no idea. It's all a bit strange to me. I thought that maybe I was making something out of nothing, but you cannot deny that these people dont move anything in or out. And the fact that the other family only stayed outside. It's not like I'm gonna call the cops or anything. Just am curious.
