Sierra Leone's Refugee All-Stars newest album which was released in April is called "Radio Salone" which is basically about the radio in their native land. If you do not know about this band you should check it out. This is their 3rd album and each one seems to grow and become more and more dynamic.

For the audiophiles here you should be happy to hear that it was recorded at the Dunham Studios in Brooklyn on 100% analog equipment. The dynamics on this are pretty great as such. It was produced by "Ticklah" who has also produced Amy Winehouse, Sharon Jones and The Dap Kings and Anti-balas.

As for the music imagine reggae, African hand rhythms and feel good booty shakers sung in 5 different languages...
