But yeah like everyone else said east 6th and south austin are where it's at! There's a few cool places near campus but they are often over run with the track shorts and neon.

    Welcome to Austin, btw. It's a great town once you uncover the locales that fit you well (and once you get a couple of those, the rest will fall into your lap because people will say "Well, if you like drinking at The Black Star Beer Coop, you'll love drinking at the _______".
