so i've never been to austin before, so this dream takes place in dream austin, where there are large bodies of water and the campus from indiana where i live, BUT:

I'm done watching the bands on the first night and my friends (who aren't actually coming) all tell me we have been buying beers off of people who just have big coolers and aren't actually vendors.
"So the beer isn't out, then?"
I walk over to a tiny stage that is barely sticking out of a wooded area and a dude sells me a beer that has to be at least 30 oz in a can i've never seen of miller high life for a dollar. How did things get so cheap?
"Pirates."
I shrug it off and a guy asks for a ride home, and he seems friendly enough, so we set off. I keep asking him for a destination and he starts to get angry at me and increasingly vague, so I drop him on a corner by the library and business school, and then within minutes I'm back in dream texas, where I meet back up with my friends and talk about where we're meeting up for the shows the next day, because we all want to see danzig at least.
Somehow, I board a boat, and we start speeding off because we hear of danger (something to do with the dudes selling beer, but it's starting to fade now), so we're loading some kind of automatic weapon that doesn't get used and someone yells something and I look back and see one of the rafts is gaining on us.
There are about four guys in the raft, the one i notice still has long curly hair and sunglasses, and as the boat approaches, I see him rummaging through a duffel bag. He gets alongside us and begins to pass us when he pulls out a white package. He throws it into our boat and my friend behind me scrambles for the package, looking like an all-white MRE, and tosses it out the back just in time for it to explode in the water. Another gets tossed in, and I go after it, though it's already been longer than the first before I get my hands on it. I throw it out the back and instead of it exploding, my alarm goes off and I have to go to work now.
