THRIFTING
Went on a thrifting excursion today and scored a few really nifty items. The highlight of the trip was a little electronic Etch-a-Sketch handheld game that you plug into your TV. I got it for my boys but I'm really enjoying it, too. The 99 cent price tag didn't hurt either. I love the process of digging through things that have been discarded. One man's trash in another man's treasure, ya know.
What is the best/most memorable thrift store or garage sale thrill you've had?

I've actually never been thrifting, but I've heard lots of people talking about it lately. Bonnie, you're close to me. Do you have any places you'd suggest?

it's been a while since i've been out thrifting. i usually seek out video ganes or vinyl records. Never find anything amazing though. Well i did find a Top Loader NES once for $5. If you know your NES sytems, this one can go for a lot more than the original toaster oven NES. I would never resell it though as i actually use it to play games 9and not just collect it for the sake of collecting
