I caught the Bill Callahan show at Mohawk last night. It was my second time seeing him in Austin- last show was in 2009 at St. David's Cathedral. The sound was really good and when he was playing, you couldn't even tell that Atmosphere were down the street at Stubb's. The crowd was (mostly) very respectful of the performance and there was minimal chatter through out the set. My only complaint was the young, drunk, super-PDA couple in front of me who kept crowding my and everyone around me's personal space. Oh well, it really only interrupted a couple of songs and eventually they atleast stopped moving around so much while making out.
