...watching king of the hill last night, and in the opening credits, i noticed a dude named, "norm hiscock". i thought it was pretty funny, but also that his parents could have done better with the first name, for comedic purposes. decided the best would have been "wolf oliver hiscock"....

...was listening to a sub pop record store day sampler the other day, and i read in the liner notes about a shabazz palaces song, "from the upcoming album black Op." well that makes more sense than black up, though i thought the latter was a cooler-sounding title. did some searching on google, and i guess originally it was sposd to be op, then sometime in late spring, they decided to go with up. i wonder how that was decided, like maybe a typo that they decided sounded better, or what...

was listening to velvet underground- s/t with my headphones on at work, and someone came over to talk to me, so i took the left side of my headphones off my ear. ended up leaving them that way, when "what goes on" started playing. out of just the one speaker, you just hear lou, singing and playing his guitar. sounded like a sweet solo version
