Whatnot 2
The other things I procured today were at the dumpster: a boxspring and a really cool chair that is missing the seat cushion. I left their counterparts (a mattress and a sofa) there and managed to move the boxspring without much trouble. I nearly made it with the chair but it got stuck between a car, shrubbery, and a concrete ledge. An older man, walking what has to be the fattest dachsund I've ever seen in my life, came over and helped me. So now these things are in my living room and though I have great plans for the chair, I'm not sure I'll keep it. I've sprayed it with everything imaginable (read: bug spray, lysol and febreeze because nothing else exists.) and lint rolled it and it still reeks of dog. Heavily. It's really gross. When cleaning the chair, I found an envleope that said "camille" on it so I assume Camille had a very hairy dog and may have been a smoker. Thanks, Camille. You knew I would see that chair while throwing trash and immediately want it. How dare you not take care of your trash so that I may steal it? I think tomorow it's going back where it came from and the random fabric I obtained can go towards a chair I find at a random thrift store or garage sale. I don't think the boxspring smells. I hope not. I don't want to spend any more money for at least a day. X-x
Oh and I got a really cool coffee table! I need to sleep. No, I need to move things out of my living room so my couch can be delivered tomorrow. I will...eventually.
