Being a big gril
Apparently when you apply for a library card in a real city, you have to show proof of current address. My driver's license still has my corpus address because I just got it in February and who knows if I'm going to be living in the same place next year. The librarian told me that I could bring in a bill or anything really, that had my name and the address. Unfortunately I've been here all of 2 1/2 weeks so I don't have any bills that have come in. Either way, I drove home, found a copy of my lease, and went back. Now I'm offiically in the City of Austin LIbrary System. Printing out pages was 20 cents a page! And the machine that you insert the money into only accepts dollar bills plus the first time you use it, you have to buy the card which costs 60 cents. My last physical two dollars in the world, gone. And I almost gave one to the homeless guy but thought I may need it. Sad, isn't it?
