Finally starting to read Middlesex. I miss reading. It was my favorite thing to do as a child. It's the reason I have glasses, actually - I would stay up late, reading by night light. Given my family's general bad eyesight, I'm sure it would've happened sooner or later without my midnight escapades reading goosebumps but it did not help my young eyes any. I got glasses when I was either 8 or 9, in the 4th grade but I'm sure I needed them before that. Anyway, i'm glad I'm reading this book now. So much to read, so much to watch, so much to do, so many people to meet - life is too short sometimes.
