Something I always found amazing.
The fact that at night you can just step out and look up
and BAM,the stars and space are just right there.
Visible to the naked eye yet not really. What we see
down here is nothing compared to how it truly looks
up there.
Maybe its just me,maybe not.But thats just something
I find fascinating.Iv seen a countless amount of shooting
stars, stuff thats hard to explain, satellites drifting the orbit,
and 1 comet.Im very observant so I guess thats why im so
lucky.
Just thought id throw this out there.

right after the whole 911 gig i used to go up on the roof of my house and look at the sky with binoculars when all the planes were grounded... ive never seen the sky look so shiny and emaculate it was probably the only chance to see a clear sky.

I lived in Lubbock for a number of years and it's amazing the difference in the sky from there and here. Have you seen the potential plans for the Austin Planetarium? I'm excited.

Very intriguing, indeed. It's humbling to know just how small we are int he scheme of things.

One of my favorite things to do way back when was to sneak out and climb onto our school buildings roof at night and look at the stars. Mainly it was an excuse to drink and meet up with girls, but it was always mesmerizing too.
