FFFFest is so much....wait for it....FUN! I've been going since '08' I was living in Dallas at the time. Made the trip down and had a blast. Since then, I have resided in Austin, loving it and still attend the festival. I already have my ticket for this year, still not knowing who will perform. Judging from the last few years, I know I will not be disappointed. I do have mixed feelings about the new location for the festival. Don't get me wrong, Auditorium Shores is great, but there isn't that much tree coverage for shade. On the plus side, the grounds are flat, no more climbing up steep hills to use the port-a-john. What I did like about Waterloo, just a few blocks away were all the great venues on Red River that had all the great after parties/shows. But I am looking forward to this years fest and can't wait to have...wait for it....FUN!!!

@Bonnie I lived in Dallas for 2 years, I liked it for the most part. I kept coming down to Austin for shows and visiting family so I decided to move here. And I love it here! And you know when November comes, it won't be as sunny out, maybe bring a hat :)

@inkboy, yea I don't really mind walking, but after 2 days of being on your feet, you need a little break. And yea the cabs aren't much at all, especially driving in town.
