So my husband & I decided to do this "stay-cation" thing this week. We took a.d. few days off, got a hotel room, & came up with things to do. And right now we're sitting in a hotel room. I'm playing on my phone & he's watching F'ing breaking bad. Seriously? I thought we are supposed to be enjoying ourselves.
I'm just gonna get drunk since we're obviously not going anywhere. :-(

Staycations are always weird (for me at least) since I so rarely leave the house, If I didn't go out somewhere on vacation, I'd never get anywhere away from my home and office.

Well that sort of thing happens especially if people get into a routine. I recommend just randomly looking for something by walking around where ever you're at, see if anything is fun that way. its a lot more fun than planning everything and can get you out of the hotel!
