Safety Not Guaranteed
Going to the budget theater in the North End tonight, to see SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED again. Easily the Sleeper Hit of this Summer, the critics' consensus on Rotten Tomatoes sums it up: "Safety Not Guaranteed's ostensibly modest ambitions are outmatched by the movie's strong performances, beguiling charm, and heartfelt story.", and it stands at 93% on the Tomatometer, almost universally praised.
Definitely check this out, I'm sure it'll be on home video soon, in the meantime, I'm taking my Lady and my Mama (who's birthday is this week!) to see it at the $3 theater in one of the scuzzy ends of Seattle.
