yay friday!
work week is finally over. It's payday, which means i am going to go out and either buy some new music, movies and maybe even a book this time. Who has some good book recommendations? I seriously haven't finished a novel since High School. I'll start something and then never finish it. As for music i could use some new bands to listen to. I've gone back to buying CD's instead of online downloads for a couple of reasons a) Hard Drive crashed once and i couldn't recover the music and b) my wifes itunes account was hacked once. Lame thing is my music stores here suck ass. ANYWAYS... hope everyone has an awesome weekend!

Like Being Killed by Ellen Miller is the most intriguingly disgusting book that you will not want to put down.

anything by Brett Easton Ellis, but I reccommend going in order: Less Than Zero, The Rules of Attraction, the Informers, American Psycho, Glamorama, Lunar Park and he just released Imperial Bedrooms.
He is an amazing American minimalist writer and you will totally get sucked into his stuff.
Also, Phillip Pullman, he wrote a triology he calls the dark matter triology, they made the first one, The Golden Compass into a movie but the book is way more intense and interesting. Has to do with the God particle theory. Very cool shit.

I really love books by David Sedaris. He's funny as hell! Right now I'm reading Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx, after several friends insisted I buy it. It's really sucked me in. Interesting read.
