turn of the lights, and i'll glow!
so i was thinking of getting glow in the dark facepaint or whatever and maybe painting a skull on my face for FFF fest. yea thats pretty typical, other idea i had was to paint some Tron inspired designs on my arms. I may just get lazy at the last minute and not do anything lol. anyways, anyone got any tips on the kinds of paints, application and such, i'm a noob with all that stuff.

Be careful of using glow paints on your skin that are meant for fabric/wood etc - they can be pretty nasty for your health. Like drinking a glow stick.

Be wary of the amazon body paint stuff, I've seen/heard bad reviews of it. (I know she's posting stuff about fabric paint, totally different.)
The best bet for application is a) brushes and b) PRACTICE! don't have to get anything too fancy, but a decent sized paint brush can help you practice and get precise lines. Also, you'd have to practice to see, but if the glow paint is really greasy, use a clear set powder like this over top of it: http://www.amazon.com/Ben-Nye-Super-White/dp/B000N49KHW
Any Halloween store will have it now, it makes it so that the greasy paints are 'dry' and is added w/a big powder brush after you apply the grease paint. Makes it so you can touch your face w/o getting stuff all over you!
