Cafe Medici is great. Unlike most coffee places that are full of hectic people trying to get places and simultaneously get a caffeine fix, it's really chill at Medici. Also it's like a 4 minute walk from where I live, so I'm a little biased.

i love the spiderhouse, it's a really relaxed place to hang and have a drink/smoke. but, i don't usually drink coffee, so i can't really vouch for how good it is. definitely worth checking out once, though just like most things in austin, it was cooler 10 years ago. oh wells, what are ya gonna do. enjoy what's here, while it's still here :)

The iced black at Progress Coffee is awesome because they put some Mexican Vanilla in it. Takes a bit of the bite that coffee has out but doesn't end up like a disgustingly sweet sbux milkshake.
