is it even on?

Our Big Song (or whatever) is 5 kids that busted into an old warehouse with a one track.

And you probably wouldn't like it if you're not us.

But as school approaches and I prepare to begin my third, disoriented year in college, I recognize that there is not a dang thing I'm going to school for that I can't already do. Art major (if anything, it's been stiffling--I've been doing it my whole life and the classes just add an unnecessary and creativity-halting structure to it) and music minor (again, something best left to independence).

Is it realistic to assume that I can just jump into working and skip out on digging myself into debt for a lack of knowledge?

Yeah, I think I'll stick with school and just gain everything that I can from it. Thanks for the help!

I found that school got in the way of my education.

I definitely think it's realistic but an oftentimes more difficult path. The friends I've had that majored in art/drama/music found that though classes could be stifling at times, college provided them with several connections and opportunities they might not have gained otherwise. It made being successful and being able to sustain some kind of living as an artist/actor/actress/musician/etc. much more obtainable.

Depends on were your working. As long as you are doing what you want or allowed to pursue your interests on the side without interference, then yes. But that's often not the case, so maybe look around while your still in college for other options cause it's hard to still have that flexibility in what you do once you leave.
