A Digital Message In A Digital Bottle On A Digital Shore
I have a sink (and counter) full of dishes that I promise I'm about to knock out like a champ. I was, afterall, a professional dishwasher once in my late teens. But first things first, a little blog therapy.
My anticipation of November grows with every day. I can't wait to be in the crowd, sweet sound waves vibrating our bodies and filling our heads with colors and emotions. A mass of humanity united in a common purpose....to have fun, to be in community with fellow human beings, to feel, to be alive. Nothing brings people together quite like music, huh? Just to know everyone around you is excited like you. The rush of positive energy, good vibes. A sea of people all dancing because this strange power in the air dictates that we must.
It's magic. It's beautiful...and with all the worries and trivialities of everyday life, the way we struggle against each other and look down on or past each other...it's a sweet oasis to feel so *connected* again.
Plug me in.

I love how when its a really really good band that everyone, not just likes...but really loves..the crowd is soo intense. It's like everyone around you becomes your bestfriend..and everyone sings along together. Especially when its a band that hasnt come to town in a good while..or they are doing a reunion show. I love it.
