Two Loves, One Time Slot
The metaphorical dagger has plunged into my music lovin' heart and been twisted. The two performances I wanted to see most out of the whole fest, Hot Snakes and Lykke Li overlap...
I'm torn between two music loves:
four middle aged, frowning, down-stroking dudes whose work fills the pews, who reached punk perfection, disbanded, and have now arisen from the grave, giving me the chance to cross off item # 4 on my "If I had a Time Machine, I would..." list. #deloreandreams
...and a sweet Swede with a pained heart, whose words speak to my soul, whose voice haunts me, whose name contains my own Lykk ELI, whose date of birth is the same as mine. #destiny

I had the same problem but i second everyone else here GO TO HOT SNAKES! Or we can run back and forth I might try to watch a few songs by Lykke Li and then jam with the snakes. #onyourlevel

I think the reasons for Hot Snakes might outweigh Lykke Li. They are legends, and i bet the crowd will be much more exciting.

hey, glad that you posted the reasons for your dilemma. By reading what you state their, I'd choose Hot Snakes given that the chances for seeing them again may be less than the chances for seeing Lykke Li again. As for me, I'm gonna be at the Lykke Li it is definitely the one I'm looking forward to probably more than anything.
