So I saw Gogol Bordello about a week and a half ago and all I can say about that show is it definitely lived up to my expectations and then some (even if I did get pulled from the pit into the med tent). Brownout was a great opening band for sure but nothing, and I mean nothing, can adequately prepare one for the sheer awesome that is Gogol Bordello. I remember moshing, crowd surfing, fighting my way back the the pit, getting pulled back and stomped on, getting pulled out to the med tent when I started not being able to breathe, fighting my way back into the pit again, dancing, and fighting for Eugene's towel (ended up tearing it in two and sharing the remains with the other guy). Next day I was covered almost head to toe with bruises and a few scrapes. Final thoughts: success!

holy crap dood that is awesome! I hope to make it to a GB show one day, maybe they'll play fff fest since they are pretty mcuh playing every other fest this year.
