Amazing New Music

Three tracks have been playing on my iPod over and over again this week. First, Iron by Woodkid

Having played french horn for eight years now, I have a bit of a bias towards this song. It's so epic. Also, it's thoroughly irritating when people refer to it as "that song from the Assassin's Creed commercial".

Second, (Break) All Of The Lights by Childish Gambino

Not new per se, but I just recently discovered it. Doing a cover of "All Of The Lights" is difficult, because it means going up against the original Kanye version, which itself is one of the greatest rap songs ever (in my opinion). Gambino does a great job though, and even changes up the beat, instead of lazily rapping over the original. I love his energy in this song.

Third, Love Song -1 -2 by The Internet

Not an incredible track, but it makes me so excited for the future album. I'm a little biased because I love Odd Future, but this is awesome. If you haven't listened to The Jet Age of Tomorrow/The Super 3, I highly suggest it, really good beats. And I had never heard Syd sing before, but her voice is so hauntingly beautiful. I hope that last term isn't cliche.

Oh, and the fact that two of these three artists will be at FFFF this year makes it even greater.
