Louisville, KY.... weirder than Austin?
Just got back from a roadtrip to Louisville for the Forecastle Fest 2 weeks ago. Must say it was a blast. Saw Devo, Bassnectar, Smashing Pumpkins, Cirque Bizerk and Mucca Pazza. Now there is a campaign in Louisville to "Keep Louiville Weird" and looked up some info on this. I guess there are some cities that copied this whole moniker including Santa Cruz, Boulder and Portland. Is Louisville a weird city? To a point it is. I don't think it is extensive as Austin's total fuckin craziness. There is a long strip of indie and posh shops along Bardstown Road that reminds me alot of Austin but I think it has a long way to go. Austin, I think has been at it longer. Louisville has alot a promise and I think there is alot of potential. If any of youz get a chance to stop by there or go down to Bonnaroo in Tennessee or Forecastle in Louisville, KY check it out!

ummmmm.... well I have to disagree with you on that one. Houston is like Chicago, New York and San Francisco. A world class city that is weird and diverse. I can't place it in the weird catagory like Austin, because cities like Austin, Louisville, Santa Cruz and Portland area anomalies. Especially given that Austin and Louisville are in the middle of some of the most Bible belt believing states. There I said it! haha

Just a slogan to sell a few t-shirts.....no place is more diverse or "weird" than Houston. That's right I said it.
