I play in 2 bands : Milch de la Maquina (I play keys, guitar and theremin) and 321 Blastoff! (I play keys and sing).
I love to Road Trip, and that's the main way I go to so many concerts.... not much comes this way for some reason.
I love meeting new people - so let's meet!

My newest musical obsession is one that I've had for awhile: "Mother Wore Tights." The local PBS station aired it quite frequently when I was a kid. It was a favorite along with "The Music Man," "Mary Poppins," and "The Sound of Music." "MWT" has yet to be released on DVD and is rarely shown on any of the classic movie channels. "The Band Wagon" is a great musical that most people haven't seen. It's also the only musical I know of that has a sequence inspired by Mickey Spillane novels.
A couple of months ago I caught a touring production of "A Chorus Line" that was pretty good. Earlier this year I attended a community theater production of "Company." Last year I thoroughly enjoyed Dallas Theater Center's production of "Tommy." "Avenue Q" is coming to Dallas next year right around my birthday. That's the next musical I know for certain I will be attending.

It was cloudy and gloomy this morning. The sun was out for about an hour this afternoon. Now it's sprinkling off and on. North Texas has a band of storms hovering overhead that are acting as a weak tropical storm. If you watch the radar loop you can definitely see the counterclockwise rotation of the storms. I can't remember the last time it rained this much for this long. It reminds me of when I lived in Seattle except the rain here has generally been heavier. The rain in Seattle is more of a perpetual drizzle.
