ACL 2010 lineup
So its up. I am actuallly kinda happy I didn't buy tickets to go there and decided that for now on FFFF is my festival to travel to each year. I went to ACL 2 years ago and had a blast. I had an all-access pass and did so much! Last year I skipped ACL and went VIP status to FFFF. It was amazing! I had more fun there and met so many awesome people. Not to mention the pre-festival activities and shows were also awesome! I hope this year that there will be secret shows. Last year there were rumors that there would be, but I never saw any. And that bugs. I also hope that the swag bags will be a bit more prompt and on time for us VIP kids. I loved the poster I got, but I did have 2 VIP passes, so my friend who purchased one under my name did not get the poster (yes i kept it as I bought the tickets). But either way FFFF is the fest for me.
If you are going to ACL festival this year here are the bands I would like to see (first of all, why are The Eagles headlining??? just not that cool).

-Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

and i'm sure a couple more, but I am not impressed by the lineup. Are you listening FFFF? Do not put someone lame like The Eagles as your headliner. Faith No More would be a sick headliner, or The Cure or something like that if you are going to go old school. ya know?

It would make no sense financially or any other way for fun fun fun fest to get someone like the eagles. ACL draws a wide crowd of people...even my aunt goes to acl. I'm going (again) this year and I don't plan on seeing any of the major headliners except the strokes which I'm not sure how they're considered a headliner except for the time slot.
Anyways, ffff gods would never ever ever subject us to the eagles I'm sure. They love us and want us to be happy and not cause riots.
Did you go to ffff on a regular pass before and then go last year vip? I have been regular style, but I amwondering if the vip is worth it. FFFF > ACL
