Ween
This Saturday I am going to see WEEN here in Albuquerque, NM at the Sunshine Theatre. It will be my 3rd time to see this band. The first time I saw them was at Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside of Denver, CO with the Flaming Lips and The Go Team. It was such a great show. The second time I drove to Tuscon, AZ and saw them at the Rialto Theatre. Just them. For 3 1/2 hours. INCREDIBLE.
I can't wait to see them this year. They are so talented live and so hilarious. Last time Gene made out with a stick pony by the end of the set.... seriously it was great.
I can't believe I didn't put them on my wishlist for the festival when they are one of my favorite live acts that I think everyone should experience. =) So therefore they are on there now!

I love Ween! One of my highlights while watching the online footage of OutsideLands this year was that they broadcast Ween's set. Awesome setlist, including personal fave Spinal Meng! They also played Touch My Tooter and Stroker Ace, so I was in clover. Jealous that you got to see 'em at the Rialto...I'm from AZ and missed the darn show!
