my FFFF schedule and other tidbits
I must say that I am quite surprised by all of the blog comments I received regarding the people who are "jipping the point system" as I call it. Others call it spam. Either way, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one out there who thinks its BS.
So I recently made a custom schedule. I didn't look at the times as I did it. I just chose all of the bands I like or I hope to like. Basically I did this because I might move from stage to stage in the middle of performances which is what I did at ACL last year.
What are your plans for seeing your favorite bands? I know that some are playing at the same time and probably on stages far from each other. Do you flip a coin? Do you decide by knowing whose songs you like the most? Or do you go based off who is supposedly the better "live band" ? Just curious... I do a little of all of them, even the coin flipping. I probably will add to my schedule as I tend to go overboard. :)

My schedule as it stands consists of the bands that are must see in my book. To be honest I'm not familiar with a lot of the bands playing FFFF and as I learn more about those bands my schedule will fill in further. Otherwise I plan to float around between the stages and check out as many bands as possible. I'm also looking forward to meeting a lot of cool people who are attending the festival.

Ya I think that is basically what I'm going to do. Although some I am sure I will end up watching the full set.... as I don't know when I will have the opportunity to see them perform again. Not many bands to come to Albuquerque, sadly.

My strategy is a combination of all that you mentioned. I plan on moving from band to band unless I happen to get really caught up in the performance. If that's the case, there's always next time.
