So after having a luke warm labor day holiday at my uncles house ; granted really i should just blame one person besides me. They're now coming for the holidays. Anyways I was kinda just there I had a whole bunch of stuff I really REALLY wanted to do. The only thing I got to do was visit the family plot (my mothers request) and eat some tacos (which i could've just done here). The rest of the time I had to deal with them wanting to sleep in or sleep early or them not wanting to do any of the stuff i wanted to do. Which is cool i know my taste are different but fuck seriously I drive you guys around ALL DAY EVERY DAY when you come visit. I drove you twice in one day to the f'n outlet mall that is 45 min each away and the regular mall at least once every single day and any other lame shit i had no interest in doing. Did i mention i had to drive 4 hours each way to pick them up? Guess they couldn't get tickets into ABIA. Did I mention I was forgotten at the airport? yeah they "forgot" who was picking me up. In my uncles defense he came rushing to the airport from work once he found out that the person that was supposed to pick me up dropped the ball. So now they're coming into town on thursday instead of friday. It's one of my closest friends bdays on thursday, we have had plans made for the past month. Now i'm torn between being a jerk and doing the same thing to them or show them that I have great manners and some of the best southern hospitality and go over the top for them in hopes that they see the difference between the way we treat people. If you've made it through my rant, one thanks and two any suggestions? Liberty is gonna be open on the 24th for sure and my mom and friends have already told me to go out and have fun with my friend tomorrow (who's bday i had to cut out early last year to make that epic 8 hr drive to pick them up). My boss has even offered to say i'm needed in the office for an emergency situation. But ughhh..... i would feel bad knowing i did the same shitty thing to all of them. Maybe i'll just be nice to the people that made an effort to help me go do stuff I wanted to do and the rest can depend on my mom and sister. #epicfamissuesblog
