Saturday 4/7/12 Politics are playing Cheer up Charlie's for the "Just ask the Axis" showcase. If you haven't seen them DO IT! They have a great sound i like to describe it as a less depressing Interpol sound. They're much much more than that of course but it's the easiest way I can explain the sound. The blurb before the show info said it's supposed to be some the up and coming bands in the area. Did i mention it's $free.Ofree! There's also talk of free beer.

If you feel like skipping town and heading down to Kyle the Euphoria fest is doing an all night rave pretty much. I've never been but if you like electronica and dance music and don't have to wake up early on Easter Sunday or want to get out of familial duties b/c of Easter this might be the ticket.

Yes guys and gals our very own little homegrown band that made it is coming back after two AMAZING performances during FFFF. Fingers crossed they'll play Paper Tiger and I'll turn into a pile of girly goop. Tickets are about $25 a pop. See you there!
