Run DMC
Well that one most def caught me off guard! I wonder who will take Jay's place? Holograms can't spin as ill as him. In fact I think holograms cant really move things but I digress. I remember watching MTV late at night as a child and seeing that crazy video for walk this way. Funfun has done it again, somehow you have brought another impossible wish come true. If I had a time machine and went back to middle school Laura and told me I was going to watch Run DMC live I would slap my self for speaking non sense and ask where my jet pack was. I still remember the special they ran on VH1 when he passed. I wore my Adidas with no shoe laces for the better part of a month. I really liked his quivery voice, it was very comforting and reassuring. He will be sorely missed but I'm sure DMC and Run will pay him homage.

There really aren't a lot of DJs that could even temporarily replace Jay. The only ones I can really think of in that style are Cut Chemist and Mike Master Mike, to be honest. Too bad that they can't just be backed up by The Roots: that would be some purely awesome shit!
