Rachel, I feel that 5 paid members of the staff could come up with a schedule a month before the fest. (Or maybe you know, designate ONE employee toward scheduling for the time being?) They handled it last year. I understand that a fest is hard to coordinate, but I feel like it's not too much to ask to have a rough schedule to be able to plan ahead.

I keep checking for times also. Worst case scenario is we get times at the show.

you do realize they have 5 paid people on their staff, right? might help explain why this huge festival takes a long time to get stuff done for. but the reason they only have five people on their paid staff is so that we can get good bands and not pay as much as coachelly or the other major fests. so, with that being said, I'm sure they'll release it soon, but have a little patience.

I don't think the homeless of austin have absorbed anything in a long time so as far as influence goes, i dunno, but you say hes a hellraiser so maybe... Yet any cognitive thought might be good for them, and if your son can inspire that- austin might just see its first homeless insurrection and your son will be like a king to them, just imagine!

feelthefunkblast: I really can't wait til he's old enough to dance around with me in the pit. 2.5 is a little young to start though. If elmo was on the stage, he'd probably be into it, but as far as I know, elmo has not been confirmed to play this year :(
And sadly, my son would probably be a bad influence on the innocent homeless of austin. He's a hellraiser, that boy.

kiddos are free to get in, bring that lil scamp to the pit with you! If thats not feasible, one of the austin elite, aka the homeless, will certainly be glad to care for your child while you're moshing away. Hope this helps!
