So hopefully in a few short hours we can all begin to complain about having to make super tough choices as far as whom to see and when at this year funfesty, but I just want to let you guys know, we should really consider ourselves lucky because we could live in Pensacola Florida and have to go to DELUNA FEST.
At first glance, this festival doesn't look so bad. Theres lot of artists on this flyer that I have seen and/or would see. BUT this flyer is misleading. What made me even notice deluna fest when there's hundreds of festivals around the country this summer/fall is that while I was browsing hipsterrunoff yesterday getting my daily fill of post-ironic irony, I look over to see a flyer boasting Linkin Park and Girl Talk as the main headliners.
This has got to be fake!I thought as I looked at the small picture on the left column of the screen. So I click it thinking surely its a mere joke by Carles making fun of the silly festival circuit. But no, this is serious.

(side note: I love the shirt Girl Talk bro is wearing, because uhh, no shit yr not a dj)
Now here's the kicker in all of this and those of you who purchase(d) PIP passes for funfesty will mostly enjoy this. Here is their VIP package:
Please not that the price is a whopping 800 bucks and what do they get? NO FUCKING SWAG AT ALL! effff that.
so the moral of the story here you guys is that even if you have to make some tough choices with your funfunfunfest schedule, at least you aren't going to deluna fest.
*edited to add that its a mega bummer that only days were announced and not times so I guess the only conflicts we have to face for now is between headliners. i.e. sunday blonde redhead vs odd future.
